Experiential Education For YOU - AsiaWorks Training [T]

Have you ever wondered what makes you act the way you do today? What beliefs have been created from your past life experiences which influence your behaviours today?
Imagine a week where you can look deeply and honestly at the way you think, feel and act in the world - and learn how your behaviour creates the results you are achieving in your life.

The AsiaWorks Training is an Active and Engaging Experiential Learning Programme. It is an opportunity to discover yourself, your life and new possibilities for your future. There are three core programmes :
1. The Basic Training - Build the self-discovery and awareness so you can understand what's the wrong thought that pull you out from your true potential, or simply says the wrong beliefs about yourself which limit your life and make you unhappy
2. The Advanced Course - Learn to stretch beyond what you believe are your current limits and discover that you are capable of more that you imagined possible
3. The Leadership Programme - Time to establish and apply your new and more productive patterns of behaviour, based not on limitations but on a deep experience and appreciation of your true potential

Start by taking The Basic Training first.
I ever attended the preview of this basic training. I really enjoyed it, it's so much FUN, the facilitator KNEW EXACTLY how to create a learning environment alive, the method is not boring at all but instead we were invited to be active. Trust me, it is not as serious as if you think so, but the impact is seriously effective =)

This training is good for everyone, especially for those who feels their life ended up with the same result year by year, meanwhile you feel that you are capable of more than you can do right now, but you cannot figure it out what's going on within yourself.

GET EXCITED AND HELP YOURSELF!

Effective Book to Learn IELTS - Target Band 7 [OS]

For those who have a plan to take an IELTS test for academic purpose, Target Band 7 could be one of your preferences for studying. This e-book which written by Simone Braverman has repeatedly appeared on Top 10 IELTS Books list published by TestStudyGuides.com, along with the books of very big and well-known publishers such as Cambridge and Barron's.

I personally recommend you because my friend had proved it. My friend had a difficulty to pass the IELTS test for only band 6, whereas the minimum requirement to take a master degree abroad is 6.5 with none of each section allowed to be below than 6.0 (listening, reading, writing, and speaking should reach a minimum of 6.0, with overall score is 6.5).

After she did self-studying by using this e-book for one month, she took an IELTS test and the result was awesome. She got an overall score of 6.5 with the scores of each section were 6.0 for listening, 7.5 for reading, 7.0 for writing, and 6.0 for speaking. None of them were below than 6.0 as required. Even though this e-book has a target to help people reaching at least band 7.0, but for someone who found it hard to pass the test all this time, band 6.5 has become an achievement for her.

The reason she could improve her score was because this e-book teached how the right way to solve the tasks. There are many tricks in IELTS and anyone who learn the tricks get higher score, but people who don't, get an average or below score.

You can find the details and read the testimonials of others in following link :

Good luck!

Cashflow Club Jakarta Meetup [OS]

For those who know Robert Kiyosaki, they've should ever heard about The Cashflow Game. Robert Kiyosaki is best known as the author of Rich Dad Poor Dad. This is the #1 personal finance book of all time, which has challenged and changed the way tens of millions of people around the world think about money. Based on his true personal journey about the experiences of raised by two different-way-of-thinking fathers, Poor Dad (his biological father) and Rich Dad (his best friend's father), he learned one important concept which keep poor become poorer and rich become richer.
"The poor and middle class work for money. The rich make money work for them."
He illustrates it in a Cashflow Quadrant as above.

To teach people about money and investing as a fun and experiential way, he then created an educational tool in board game format named The Cashflow Game. Through this game, you will learn to first understand your own behavior when managing money and opportunities offered, to can eventually fight your way out of the rat race.

The GOOD NEWS is, now in Jakarta, there are a group of people who like this idea of learning, then they buy it and meet up regularly every two weeks to play and learn together. It is a Cashflow Club Jakarta and everyone welcome to play!

The detail schedule of regular meet up can be looked at :
