Get a chance to spread YOUR idea in TEDxJakarta!
As we are planning for our next TEDxJakarta, “The Journey to Return”, for the first time we will open submissions to provide opportunities for members of the TEDxJakarta community to talk on our main event in August/September 2011. We’re opening this submission to give an opportunity to the undiscovered talents and unsung heroes out there (maybe that’s you!) to inspire others in Jakarta, in Indonesia, or even the world, through their ideas and actions. If you are selected, you will be given an 8-minute slot to talk in front of the TEDxJakarta audience.
That’s why we are calling this TEDxJakarta:YOU!
If you’re interested, here’s what you need to do:
1. Create a one-minute video
2. Attach supplementary material to support your video
3. Fill out the application form at TEDxJakarta:YOU! and give us your details, including the link to your video, essay and supporting materials.
Important dates:
• Forms are due Sunday, July 3rd, 2011. At 23:59 WIB
• Shortlisted candidates will be announced on July 16th, 2011
• Candidates will be invited to meet with the selection panel in Jakarta between 18th ~ 25th of July 2011 to present their talks.
• The final decision will be announced at the end of July.
